This highly reliable ranking from BCN reveals the top 10 best-selling cameras in the Japanese market for July. I am only sharing this ranking to show that no L-mount cameras made it into the top 20 🙁
AstrHori is expanding its lens lineup with an upcoming 6mm f/2.8 manual focus lens for APS-C mirrorless cameras. Expected mounts include Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, and L-mount. Like other AstrHori optics, the lens has no electronic contacts, but manual focusing should be easy thanks to its deep depth of field.
The lens follows the recent release of AstrHori’s 6.5mm f/2 circular fisheye, which offers a 192° field of view and sells for $129. While pricing and release date for the new 6mm lens haven’t been confirmed, it’s likely to be budget-friendly and available soon.
